Community Shop Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Chester shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse and passionate volunteer team, maintaining high standards, and building strong connections within the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a volunteer team to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience
- Manage stock levels, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Build and maintain relationships with local community groups, charities, and stakeholders to promote the shop and its values
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a charity shop or similar environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive and engaging shopping experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion and a passion for promoting environmentally friendly practices
