About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Operative to join our Transportation team in Bridgwater, Somerset. As a key member of our Highways Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the promotion of customer care by working closely with team members to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Respond to incidents on the network within designated timescales, ensuring relevant parties are updated and traffic disruption is minimized.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on the network, operating a variety of plant and equipment, and ensuring site and company equipment is secure.
  • Use WMS/MMW application to provide accurate records of works carried out on the network.
  • Conduct daily defect reports on vehicles and ensure vehicles are cleaned and maintained in good order.
Requirements
  • Street Works qualified
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
