The successful candidate will play a vital role in our mission by working on exciting projects that require innovative problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

About The Role

As a Design and Construction Management Degree Apprentice, you will be responsible for completing a BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology degree through day release delivery with the remainder of your time spent on-the-job learning.

You will also become a member of the CIAT and gain experience in nuclear behavioural culture, safety, and security.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will develop design, technical, and management skills, applying scientific principles and practical knowledge in constructing buildings to meet performance criteria.

You will learn advanced computer technology in 3D Computer Aided Design and visualization, producing design details, and administering contracts and projects.

In addition, you will undertake professional engineering placements in various industrial areas, including explosive processing buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and nuclear installations.

This will provide you with an appreciation of the challenges and safety requirements involved in providing engineering services throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Upon completion, you will have the skills and knowledge to lead, manage, and coordinate activities within the design and construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design, technical, and management skills through on-the-job learning and day release degree delivery.
  • Become a member of the CIAT and gain experience in nuclear behavioural culture, safety, and security.
  • Apply scientific principles and practical knowledge in constructing buildings to meet performance criteria.

Requirements:

  • HNC in a related subject or Level 4 Apprenticeship in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification.
  • 5 GCSEs at A-C, including Maths and English, or equivalent.
  • Age: Applicants must be 18 or over as of August 31st, due to security clearance requirements.
  • British Nationality required.

Salary: £22,250 per annum, increasing annually throughout your apprenticeship.
