Welder/Fabricator Specialist

At Allied Vehicles Group, we are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator Specialist to join our Pre-Production department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and converting components using general welding and fabrication tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and adhere to departmental induction instructions, complete minimum safety training documentation and practical assessments as required by the company
  • Carry out all work in accordance with relevant safe systems of work
  • Attend all additional training as required to include updating appropriate coding certification when necessary
  • Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed
  • Strive to complete all work in accordance with standard allowed times and report any delays to supervisor
  • Report any faulty or broken components to supervisor immediately
  • Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation and maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

To be successful in this role, you will be a time served or qualified Welder with M.I.G. experience and you will be proficient in the use of measuring equipment. Experience of T.I.G., welding stainless steel and aluminium and of operating a press brake would be advantageous but is not essential.
