About the Role:

As a Catering Assistant at Beaumont Care Homes, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality dining experience for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Cook Manager in preparing nutritious and enticing meals that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help prepare all meals within the home, taking into account special dietary requirements.
  • Ensure the general cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen area, equipment, and appliances.
  • Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff, and visitors to the home.
  • Regularly seek feedback from residents and staff to continually improve the level of service offered.
  • Receive, check, and safely store kitchen deliveries.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and food preparation.
  • A team player who engages well with others.
  • Strong communicator and influencer.
  • Energetic and hard-working.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Passionate about offering a high level of service.
