Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Area Supervisor to join our team at the Celtic Manor Resort. As a Public Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in our Public Areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure consistent standards and outstanding productivity.
  • Direct and lead the team to ensure that all areas allocated to you represent a 5-star standard to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Monitor and report any issues or concerns to the management team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of the luxury hotel market and experience working in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good levels of written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Opera (computer system) is advantageous.
