Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to oversee the complete logistics management process, including planning, forecasting, and liaising with suppliers, warehouses, and transport providers. This role is crucial for maintaining stock management and serving as the main contact for all logistics issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory and prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with Marketing to agree on sales forecasts and set purchase forecasts in line with sales forecasts and fulfillment timescales.
- Proactively chase orders and manage relationships with pre-wholesalers to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide reports and information for colleagues in the UK and at Corporate level, and communicate logistics issues effectively.
- Manage the UK logistics mailbox, ensuring prompt response to incoming emails and conduct monthly rolling forecasts and weekly SAP uploads.
- Collate incoming paperwork for new stock deliveries and generate monthly reports on stock issues.
- Liaise with Finance regarding stock quantities, orders, claims, deliveries, and destructions.
- Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Organised with the ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
- Adaptability to carry out a variety of tasks and quick learner, able to understand new information and skills.
- Efficiency in focusing on objectives and allocating time appropriately, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, and a self-starter with a 'can do' approach and a positive outlook.
- Proven track record of achievement and performance, and experience with stock management.
