Support Worker for Complex Care

Active Care Group is a leading provider of complex care, supporting clients with spinal cord injury, neurological, and acquired brain injury to live independently in their own homes.

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in West Hampstead to support a client with a spinal cord injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as well as moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Support the client to lead an independent life in their home and community.
  • Work on a rolling rota, with assignments 2 weeks long, to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature.
  • Flexibility and reliability to ensure continuity of care.
  • Good communication skills and ability to hold a good conversation with the client.
  • Interest in sports and being active to share with the client.
  • Ability to pick up skills and tasks quickly and use initiative.
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.

What We Offer:

  • £805 per week / £115 per day on a zero-hour contract.
  • Potential for regular consistent work with set rolling rotas minimum of 2 weeks on.
