About the Role
We seek an experienced Chief IT Risk and Continuity Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert audit advice to improve control effectiveness and efficiency. Conduct comprehensive audits and investigations, report findings, assess risks, and ensure corrective actions. Develop, test, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical information systems. Guide the creation and maintenance of standards, procedures, and quality processes. Oversee project deliverables, ensuring compliance with business continuity needs. Lead and motivate teams, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure quality delivery. Analyze audit outcomes and recommend improvements. Act as a 24/7 escalation point, upholding company policies, security, and legal standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will have experience applying standards, practices, codes, and assessment and certification programs relevant to the IT industry and the specific organisation or business domain. You will be experienced in methods and techniques for risk assessment, business impact analysis, establishment of countermeasures, and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of IT services. You will also have experience in assessing and managing business risk, including safety-related risk. As a lead on incidents, you will have put in place recovery plans.
Benefits
