About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEND Class Teacher to join our fantastic team at The Holden School. As a SEND Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the school curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs, ensuring their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized curriculums for pupils with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the school team to ensure successful outcomes for pupils
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Use a range of teaching styles to engage and motivate pupils with varying learning needs
  • Contribute to the development of the school's therapeutic and trauma-informed approach
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and care
