Support Pupils in a Rewarding Environment

GSL Education - Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join our High Peak site. In this rewarding role, you will provide tailored support to pupils who face challenges, helping them thrive academically and personally.

About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work with pupils who require additional support, helping them navigate the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering targeted assistance to pupils in small groups or one-on-one.
  • Working with challenging pupils, demonstrating resilience and patience.
  • Providing off-site support to pupils in various locations.
  • Occasionally assisting secondary pupils as required.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting.
  • Proven ability to work with pupils who present challenging behaviours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations.
  • Willingness to occasionally support secondary pupils as needed.

Salary and Benefits
