Sales Consultant Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team at Reed. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for turning leads into orders and sales, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and qualify leads from the hospitality sector.
  • Understand and address the needs of customers, offering them the best solutions.
  • Provide quotes, samples, and buying materials, highlighting the unique selling points of our products.
  • Follow up with customers throughout the sales process, ensuring they have all the necessary information to make a purchase decision.
  • Raise sales orders and allocate stock.
  • Report on daily activities and monthly targets to the sector leader.
  • Refer customers to alternative suppliers if we cannot meet their requirements.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, transport, accounts, and other departments to ensure smooth order delivery.
  • Keep track of all open orders and delivery dates.

Requirements:

  • Experience in handling and managing projects in a firm but friendly manner.
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales.
  • Good people skills and sales/customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and assist with various tasks as needed.

About Our Client:

Our client is a global premium service company that embodies high-quality standards. They are a family-run organization with a proud tradition spanning over six decades.

What We Offer:

A salary of between £28k-£30k, along with a generous bonus structure. 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, with a holiday salary sacrifice scheme, and ongoing training, including personal development courses.

This is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
