Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join our team at The Bread Factory Limited.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ordering equipment and indirect goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and communicating with stakeholders and external suppliers.

You will also be responsible for analyzing data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and other issues, evaluating and reporting on KPIs, investigating trends outside of forecast, and monitoring logistics to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
  3. Investigate trends outside of forecast to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
  4. Monitor logistics to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
  5. Maintain accurate records of supply chain inventory and activities.
  6. Train and guide employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  7. Finding cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
  8. Resolve issues promptly and professionally, including delays in delivery and accidents.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
  10. Develop and implement safety guidelines for all aspects of the supply chain.
  11. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and standards for supply chain operations.
  12. Manage stock levels to avoid excessive quantities and minimize waste.
Requirements
  1. Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.
  2. Working experience of relevant software, such as SAP MM.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  5. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  6. Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. A strategic and forward-thinking mindset.
  8. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
