Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled storyteller to join our team as a Christmas Stories Officer. In this role, you will work closely with Crisis at Christmas guests and members with lived experience of homelessness to share their stories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit Crisis at Christmas services and build relationships with guests to gather their stories
  • Support guests in creating packages of creative story content, including photos, video, or written content
  • Lead on editing, reviewing, and signing off content with guests in a safe and ethical way
  • Collaborate with the Stories team to plan and deliver storytelling during Crisis at Christmas

Requirements

  • Excellent storytelling and writing skills
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR principles
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
