Civil Infrastructure Technician

We are seeking a qualified civil infrastructure technician to join our Tangram team for a large-scale construction project in Christchurch. The ideal candidate will have experience in drain laying and be familiar with drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Drainage System Installation: Install, inspect, and maintain stormwater and wastewater drainage systems.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects according to specifications and blueprints.
- Trench Excavation: Prepare trenches for pipe installations using manual and mechanical excavation methods.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain relevant equipment, including excavators, compactors, and laser levels.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, contractors, and site managers to meet project deadlines.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in drain laying or a related field.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with drainage systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Licenses: Preference for full class 1 & 2 licenses but not essential.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of $75,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
