Occupational Therapy Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our Paediatric Occupational Therapy team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • To assist occupational therapists in providing specialist equipment provision for children and young people.
  • To work alongside occupational therapists and technical instructors to support the delivery of therapy treatments, hydrotherapy, and group sessions.
  • To carry out clinical administrative duties, including documentation and communication with patients and carers.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification, such as an apprenticeship or NVQ level 3, in a field related to children and young people.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or education setting, particularly with children and young people with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Estimated salary: £24,907 - £30,451 per annum (dependent on experience).
