Job Title: Quality Advisor

About the Role:

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a highly skilled Quality Advisor to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a Quality Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects, adhering to regulatory and employer's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  • Carry out site inspections to verify that works meet quality, regulatory, and employer's requirements.
  • Oversee site inspections and tests to ensure they are conducted in accordance with inspection and test plans.
  • Collaborate with subcontracted laboratories to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Implement and maintain the project's quality management plan.
  • Ensure project Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) are raised, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Deliver necessary quality documentation for each type of work.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and right-first-time quality across the site team.
  • Assist the Quality Manager in commissioning M&E works and handover processes.
  • Digitize quality processes in the Common Data Environment.
  • Perform quality inductions, workshops, and lessons-learned implementation.
  • Maintain quality and calibration registers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in building relationships with external parties.
  • Significant construction technology knowledge and experience.
  • Able to solve complex construction problems.
  • Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at various levels within Ferrovial.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Office software.
  • CSCS card and ISO 9001 certification.
