Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and installations.
  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in FMCG or industrial manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with packaging equipment, particularly baggers and Flo Wrappers, is desirable.
