Educational Interventionist

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support to a Year 10 student in the St Helens area, fostering academic development and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SEN, specifically ADHD and visual impairment, with the ability to tailor their teaching approach to meet the student's unique needs and promote a supportive learning environment.

• Deliver 1:1 support to a Year 10 student with SEN, focusing on academic and personal development.">
• Design and implement customized lesson plans to cater to the student's individual needs and abilities.">
• Maintain accurate records of progress and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including parents and other professionals.">
• Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic well-being.">

  • QTS or equivalent qualification.">
  • Experience working with students with SEN, particularly ADHD and visual impairment.">
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and adapted curriculum design.">
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to process a new application).">
  • Right to work in the UK.">
  • Two professional child-related references.">
