Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our client's team in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial expert to take on a key role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the production of monthly management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate financial records
  • Budgeting and forecasting to support business decision-making
  • Present financial data and analysis to the Finance Director
  • Cost-based sales analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Enhance cost-saving initiatives and boost profitability
  • Daily bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Oversight and maintenance of sales and purchase ledger accounts
  • Preparation and submission of the monthly payroll
  • Completion of VAT returns
  • Support external accountants with annual statutory accounts preparation
  • Engage with external auditors and contribute to the audit process
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and develop business processes and systems
Requirements
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA PQ qualification (Qualified by Experience considered)
  • Experience in producing monthly management accounts
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Open, honest, and strong team worker
  • Experience with stock management preferred
  • Knowledge of import and export regulations
  • Familiarity with statutory legislation and regulations
