Senior Electrical Engineer Job Opportunity

Platform Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's expanding UK team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical building services, with a strong background in project management and technical leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage the electrical team on multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Oversee the production of technical drawings, including schematics and elevations, utilizing software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and national engineering directives, standards, and industry guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with British Standards, approved documents, and industry guides/standards.
  • Provide line management support and communicate effectively with team members and clients on technical matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering (IEng, Eng Tech, or LCIBSE or ACIBSE is desirable).
  • Experience in mixed-use residential electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD/Revit software.
  • Knowledge of UK mechanical/electrical design standards.
