Aircraft Fitter Required

Arden White Aerospace and Aviation Recruitment is working with a leading aviation solution provider near Brize Norton.

We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Fitter to join our client's team, with positions available on day shifts and night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on aircraft in accordance with technical documentation and procedures set out by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance tasks assigned by hangar foreman/management.
  • Transport heavy tools, equipment, and parts around site – forklift training can be provided.
  • Clean aircraft.
  • Ensure work area is always tidy and tools used are correctly stored away; report any unsafe or damaged equipment using correct channels.
  • Perform additional reasonable requests or responsibilities from management team or leaders.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in aircraft maintenance or a recognised apprenticeship with one year of aircraft experience (plus 12 months service).

The shift pattern is 7am to 7pm (on days) and 7pm to 7am (on nights), with a rotation of 5 on-5 off, 4 on-5 off, and 5 on-4 off.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
