Job Description: Part-time Arts Programme Coordinator

About the Role: Creative Scotland is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-time Arts Programme Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with the Artistic Director to deliver a unique and innovative programme of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Development: Assist in developing and implementing a programme of events, including multidisciplinary performances and exhibitions.
  • Logistics: Coordinate event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, and technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage communication with stakeholders, including artists, venues, and sponsors.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing festival finances, including budgeting and expense tracking.

Requirements:

  • Literacy Skills: High literacy skills are essential for this role.
  • Arts Knowledge: A good understanding of the arts sector is beneficial.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evening events.
  • Transportation: Own transport and a clean driving license (preferable).

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Contract Details: Freelance, 12-month contract from February 2025. Renewable subject to funding and assessed need.
