Job Overview: Abbott is seeking a Medical Specimen Collector to join our team. This role involves collecting legally defensible samples from customers at various locations nationwide. As a Medical Specimen Collector, you will work in a flexible and motivated regional team, providing a quality specimen collection service.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be IT literate, and have a self-motivated approach to work. A driving licence and own vehicle are also essential.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct specimen collections competently following collection procedures and customer requirements.
* Provide availability to attend collections during the day, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota and respond to calls immediately.
* Remain current with process by attending audits and reading relevant documentation.

Required Qualifications:
* Educated to National Standards.
* Good verbal, written, and communication skills.
* IT literate and basic skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* A self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to work.
