Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Reliable Equipment Specialist to join our production team in the UK Warehouse & Fulfilment Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient upkeep of all production and site services equipment.

As a multi-skilled engineer with strong communication skills, you will partner with our production and fulfilment teams to maintain equipment reliability, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault-find and problem-solve on a broad range of equipment and situations
  • Partner with production and fulfilment teams to ensure equipment availability and maintenance
  • Demonstrate shift leadership and coach colleagues to improve operational efficiency
  • Diagnose and fix plant issues, including site services
  • Own and drive machinery reliability, reacting promptly to breakdowns
  • Provide expert guidance on diagnosing reasons for plant downtime
  • Carry out root cause analysis of efficiency losses and significant breakdowns

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong multi-skilled engineering background, including completion of a recognised apprenticeship
  • Qualification to HNC level in an Engineering discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an Engineering or Senior Technician Role
