About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team at ACADEMICS. As an SEN Teacher, you will work with students who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities, developing and delivering tailored learning programs that cater to their individual requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SEN Teacher to make a meaningful difference in the educational community of Hillingdon, leveraging their expertise to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement customized learning plans for students with special needs.
- Closely monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed.
- Foster collaboration with staff and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students.
- Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and development.
- Work closely with pupils who require support due to Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD) or Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD).
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in SEN teaching, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong communication skills and patience, with the ability to adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your students.
