Leonid Group Ltd is seeking a Senior R&D Tax Consultant to join our team. As a Senior R&D Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process with clients from the initial kick-off meeting through to the submission of the claim to HMRC. You will work with our consultancy team to create long-term, trusting relationships with clients and mentor and train junior consultants. Your key responsibilities will include providing specialist advice to clients on R&D tax reliefs, including the technical, tax, and financial aspects of the relief schemes. You will also be responsible for managing and preparing written reports supporting claims for R&D tax reliefs. This will involve meeting with clients and targets at all stages of the sales and production process to discuss R&D reliefs. You will also interview in-house technical staff to gain an understanding of their activities and work with client contacts to gather detailed financial, HR, and other data to facilitate the calculation of the relief. Your skills and personal qualities will be essential in this role, including excellent communication, presentation, and language skills, as well as experience of writing technical documentation and professional correspondence. If you have experience in professional practice, accountancy, or tax roles, or experience in dealing with HMRC, this would be desirable. We are looking for a Senior R&D Tax Consultant who is able to explain complex tax and technical concepts to a non-technical audience and has a strong understanding of the R&D tax relief schemes.
