About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hackney. This full-time, fixed-term position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with autism and helping them thrive in a structured and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of autism strategies and be able to implement and adapt individual learning plans to meet the specific needs of the child. They will also be able to collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo to create a structured and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a student with autism, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Implement and adapt individual learning plans to meet the specific needs of the child.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo to create a structured and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor the child's progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCo, and adjusting strategies as needed.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with autism.
- Understanding of autism strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
