As a Special Education Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our vibrant mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational experience of students with SEND.
The successful candidate will start immediately and work full-time until the end of the academic year. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual who can support students in the classroom, both individually and in small groups. You will also assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources tailored to individual student needs.
To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or child support setting. Strong experience with SEND, particularly in secondary education, is essential. A current DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one) is required.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, starting at £25,000 per annum. Ongoing professional development opportunities are available, as well as a chance to make a real difference in students' lives.
This is an ideal role for those who want to contribute to inclusive education and promote positive behaviour among students. If you are committed to supporting students with SEND, we would love to hear from you.
