Clinical Leadership and Operations

  1. Work collaboratively with partners to establish practice goals, growth strategies, and financial plans.
  2. Oversee clinical standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead audits as necessary.
  3. Identify and manage operational risks, prioritizing patient safety, data protection, and regulatory adherence.
  4. Maintain efficient practice operations, manage staff performance, and handle administrative tasks such as report processing and record-keeping.
  5. Foster a supportive environment, participating in meetings to drive team success and personal growth.
  6. Commit to ongoing development, adhering to GMC standards, and engaging in annual appraisals and revalidation processes.
  7. Act as a mentor and role model, contributing to staff training and staying updated on best practices in patient care.
  8. Provide patient-centered care, conducting consultations and managing appointments, including out-of-hours shifts.
  9. Triaging patients, managing prescriptions, and referring patients to secondary care as needed.
  10. Manage chronic conditions, promoting healthy living and necessary testing and screenings.
  11. Communicate sensitively with patients and families, ensuring understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
  12. Deliver high-quality services and participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Mentor staff and support team performance in alignment with healthcare policies.

Non-Clinical Responsibilities
