About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our South team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop drainage systems for public, private, and third sector projects
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that drainage systems are integrated with other infrastructure components
  • Prepare reports and specifications for drainage systems, including design details and technical information
  • Travel to project sites as required to conduct site visits and inspections
Requirements
  • UK experience of working on public, private, or third sector drainage design projects
  • Competency in using UK standards such as DRMB, TSRGD, Manual for Street, MCHW, CDM, and local authority standards
  • Ability to design all aspects of drainage from concept to detailed design
  • Experience of drainage design interfaces, including highways, rail, geotechnical, environmental, and structural
  • Ability to prepare reports and specifications, and collect and assimilate data and statistics necessary for progress and technical reports
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the region as required
  • A relevant qualification in an Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent experience in the UK
  • Working towards professional membership/accreditation with an industry-recognised Professional Body
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence
