Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced financial professional to join our team as a Senior Assistant Financial Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the overspending cost centre process for the Division of DCS, preparing working files, analysing variances, and generating action plans with budget holders.
  • Maintain and analyse the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely production of budget statements.
  • Produce reports to assist with monitoring and reviewing the monthly financial position, creating strong relationships with budget holders and providing support with all financial matters.

Person Specification
  • CCAB Foundation Level / AAT Technician Level / HNC/equivalent degree providing exemptions or equivalent work-based experience.
  • Detailed understanding of accounting procedures and evidence of a sound knowledge of NHS finance.
  • Proven track record in formulating budgets for a department or section.
