Are you an experienced educator looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking an Academic English Teacher to join our team at Step Teachers in Suffolk.

About the Role

This is a long-term or permanent position, starting in January 2025. You will be responsible for teaching English Language and English Literature to secondary school students.

  • Maintain organized and professional classrooms and resources
  • Collaborate with staff within classrooms and throughout the school
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive student feedback

You will also need to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons, as well as comply with school policies and implement them reliably.

Requirements
  • Hold QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Have recent mainstream school experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
  • Exhibit good classroom and behaviour management
  • Rlevant English-related degree preferred

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
