Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Pulse Healthcare.

About the Role:

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a designated caseload, providing clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the multidisciplinary team. You will work with individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and progressive neurological conditions, promoting health and independence through high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage your caseload, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
  • Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
  • Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff.
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways.

Requirements:

  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Experience in a similar clinical setting.
  • Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
