Senior Contracts and Bids Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts and Bids Officer to join our client, a leading Aerospace and Defence Electronics organisation based in Rochdale, on an interim basis for up to 12 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the bids team, ensuring the timely submission of bids, and taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing the commercial aspects of bids
  • Working with the Estimating officer to ensure accurate pricing
  • Ensuring the timely submission of bids
  • Taking ownership of the bid process from preparation to submission
  • Producing high-quality bid documents within defined deadlines
  • Providing commercial support to the business development team

The ideal candidate will have a higher level qualification in Business or a related discipline, and/or previous experience in a bid environment. Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and the ability to influence at multiple levels within the organisation are essential.
