Job Title: Investment Risk Manager, Fixed Income, Global Fund Manager

At JMD Reg Consultancy LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Investment Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and managing investment risk across our fixed income portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk analysis of fixed income rates, bonds, inflation swaps futures, and option pricing to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Liaise with Portfolio Managers to refine analyses and communicate key portfolio findings, ensuring that investment decisions are informed by accurate and timely risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement quantitative risk metrics, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), liquidity, and market risk measures, to provide a comprehensive understanding of portfolio risk.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in a STEM discipline, such as Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in investment or market risk analysis of fixed income portfolios.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of interest rates, swaps, options, and pricing of financial instruments.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex risk analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
