About the Role

ING is a leading financial institution offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. As a Credit Trader, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for credit trading in Emerging Europe, APAC, and European IG, Covered Bonds & HY, and US IG.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a market-making strategy for APAC credit products, with a focus on producing stable and sustainable revenue across the credit cycle.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Research, and DCM/Syndicate teams to identify opportunities and execute trades that meet client needs.
  • Utilize advanced trading tools and technology to analyze market data and make informed trading decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and adapt trading strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with Risk Management to ensure effective risk management and control.
  • Contribute to the development of the Credit Trading franchise, identifying opportunities to increase market share and execute initiatives to achieve it.
Requirements
  • University degree (at least 2:1) in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in APAC credit trading, with a strong understanding of fixed income products, especially bonds and CDS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and priorities.
