About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive team, providing enhancements for weekends and nights. You will be part of a small dedicated team of critical care nurses on a state-of-the-art 5-bedded CCU, caring for patients with complex and changing needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to a team of critical care nurses on shift, ensuring excellent patient care and a safe working environment.
- Assess patients' health and wellbeing, making informed decisions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Act as a mentor to junior team members, offering supervision and ongoing development.
- Collaborate with the Critical Care Lead and Resuscitation Lead to achieve a Level 2/3 department.
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Post Graduate critical care course essential.
- Recent experience of leading a critical care unit.
