About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Education People Ltd. As a key member of our secondary education recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying and sourcing high-calibre candidates to fill school bookings, cultivating and sustaining robust relationships with clients and candidates, and driving business development initiatives to expand our client base and market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the active secondary desk, efficiently filling school bookings and leveraging our esteemed reputation to attract new candidates and clients.
  • Proactively identify and source high-calibre candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Conduct comprehensive screening and interviews of potential candidates, ensuring a thorough understanding of their skills, experience, and fit for the role.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both new and existing clients and candidates, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Confirm and coordinate bookings with candidates and clients, ensuring timely and efficient placement.
  • Exhibit agility in making decisions and adapting to changes at short notice, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to recruitment.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand our client base and market presence, identifying new opportunities and partnerships to grow our business.

  • Confident and articulate communicator, comfortable with extensive phone interactions.
  • Highly motivated, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrates quick thinking.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong team player, willing to take initiative and contribute to collective success.
  • Previous sales experience, particularly in making outbound sales calls.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams, with a robust administrative background.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team.
