Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance and technical work in our factory, both proactively and reactively. This role requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team of up to 15 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all maintenance and technical work in the factory, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Lead a team of up to 15 staff members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement a continuous improvement culture, driving positive change and promoting a culture of excellence.
• Plan and schedule work, utilizing and maximizing the CMMS system to minimize downtime and establish and combat reoccurring problems.
• Ensure that all staff members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties, with a focus on upskilling and development.
• Promote a culture of health and safety, ensuring that all correct PPE are provided and worn, and correct procedures are followed.

Requirements:

• Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship and/or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
• Proven experience in managing a team of engineers, with a strong track record of leadership and motivation.
• Familiarity with a maintenance management system and delegation to work to a team.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate workload, using own initiative in a fast-paced production environment.
• Exposure and promotion of Health & Safety and Compliance Procedures.
• Computer literate.
