Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar and Lounge Operations Manager to join our team at Gateway Hospitality Recruitment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for managing the bars at our luxury hotel, supervising and encouraging junior staff, and driving sales and achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the bars, ensuring exceptional customer service and a high level of quality in all aspects of service.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the high standards of our luxury hotel.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets, working closely with the front of house team to ensure seamless service.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure alignment with the hotel's overall vision and goals.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant, with a strong background in customer service and team management.
  • Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails, with the ability to provide expert recommendations to guests.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
