Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Support Professional to join our team at Corby Sixth Form. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of facilities support services to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff;
- Maintain the overall appearance and condition of facilities, including security, portering, maintenance, and ground maintenance;
- Conduct health and safety testing and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries;
- Drive company vehicles and use your own vehicle (with valid insurance) to travel between college sites;
- Clean and maintain facilities to a high standard;
- Support and assist other team members as needed;
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and colleagues;
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
- Be reliable and punctual, with good attendance and time-keeping record;

- Basic level of health and safety knowledge and willingness to undertake relevant training;
- Experience working with the public, particularly young people, and dealing with a range of situations involving people of all age-groups;
- Ability to work on own initiative and support and assist team members;
- Current clean valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle;
- Reliability and punctuality, with good attendance and time-keeping record;
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Commitment to our organisational VISION values.
The salary for this role is £24,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 27 days annual leave, bank holidays, Peoples pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, and access to college courses.
Working ArrangementsThis is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE). You will be required to work at various college sites, including weekends as needed, and be available by telephone occasionally at short notice.
