Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Role:

  • Lead the Art Department: As the Head of Art, you will drive creativity and innovation in the classroom, inspiring young minds and fostering a love for the arts.
  • Mentor and Support Colleagues: You will support and mentor a team of dedicated art teachers, sharing best practices and promoting professional development.
  • Organize Exhibitions and Events: You will organize exhibitions and events to showcase student artwork and promote the importance of the arts within the school and local community.

What We're Looking For:

  • A passionate and experienced Art Teacher with QTS.
  • Proven success in delivering high-quality art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Creative and forward-thinking, with the ability to develop an exciting, progressive curriculum.
  • A desire to promote and celebrate the importance of art education within the school and wider community.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time, permanent position.
