Specialist Pharmacist in Women's and Paediatric Services

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at a leading NHS hospital in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist team, providing expert pharmaceutical care to women and children across various clinical settings.
About the Role:- Provide specialist pharmaceutical advice and support for women's and children's services, ensuring safe and effective medication use for paediatric and obstetric patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care, including prescribing and dispensing medicines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting clinical medication reviews and monitoring patient progress, adjusting medication regimens as necessary based on clinical outcomes.
- Participating in ward rounds, offering expert advice on drug therapies, drug interactions, and dosage adjustments.
- Providing education and training to healthcare staff on the safe use of medications in paediatrics and obstetrics.
- Supporting the development of clinical protocols and guidelines within the women's and children's services.
- MPharm degree (or equivalent) and GPhC registration.
- Extensive experience working as a pharmacist, ideally in women's and children's pharmacy services within the NHS or healthcare settings.
- Knowledge of the unique pharmaceutical needs of paediatric and obstetric patients.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, monitor, and adjust medication regimens.
- Competitive hourly rates ranging from £32 - £38 per hour.
