We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer or Principal Civil Engineer to join our team in Central Bristol. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile projects and creating places for people.

About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer or Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for a combination of hands-on design and technical delivery of infrastructure projects, including highways and drainage. You will also oversee, mentor, and review the workload of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preliminary and detailed drainage design, including surface and foul drainage with SuDS
  • Highways geometric design, including estate roads
  • Pavement design
  • Earthworks, including cut and fill volume calculations and earthwork strategies
  • Utilities design and coordination
  • Full S38, S278, and S104, S106 packages
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard software, including Civil 3D, Site 3D, PDS, Micro/InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow
