Are you a seasoned project manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Project Manager at our state-of-the-art production facility in Leyland.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors
- Coordinate and manage project-related activities, including procurement, installation, and commissioning
- Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards and within budget
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in a FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
- Proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD
