Abatec Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team for an ongoing highways project in the Wiltshire area.

Our client, a leading tier-one contractor, requires a candidate with previous experience in a similar role, having worked on civil engineering & highways projects under NEC suite of Contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial activities associated with highway works
  2. Management of subcontractor accounts, including assessment of applications for payment and issuing of payment notices
  3. Production and analysis of cost and value reports against forecast in conjunction with the Managing Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager
  4. Preparation of EWNs and CEs as required by the Managing Quantity Surveyor
  5. Site visits and measurements
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
  2. Experience working for a Civil Engineering contractor

Salary: £450 - £500 per day
