Job Title: Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

The ideal candidate will have a background in exceptional food catering services and a proven track record of leading a team to deliver high-quality food and service.

As our next Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. You will also be expected to maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food and service.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and food quality.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Monitor and control food costs and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a contract catering environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
