About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inverter Technical Lead to join our team at EVera Recruitment. As an Inverter Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of inverter systems for our luxury British car manufacturer client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Define and own inverter development projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality inverter components.
  • Programme Alignment: Align inverter development with overall programme objectives, ensuring seamless integration with vehicle systems.
  • Delivery Ownership: Take ownership of inverter delivery, including design, testing, and validation.
  • Thermal Modelling: Conduct thermal modelling of inverter systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • System Comparison Studies: Coordinate system comparison studies to evaluate and select the best inverter solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep technical knowledge of inverter hardware and software, including inverter hardware design, control methodologies, and future technology developments.
  • Experience: Experience in high voltage switching components (MOSFETs, IGBTs) and strong user of MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork skills, self-motivated, eager to take responsibility, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
