About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Plant/Brokk Fitter. As a key member of our equipment maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and develop their skills, with a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, servicing and repairing plant equipment under the supervision of our experienced fitters.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of heavy plant equipment, with the potential to progress to more senior roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled service inspections, servicing and repair of plant equipment
  • Support with general yard duties, including loading and unloading equipment
  • Maintain a tidy workplace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist and learn from experienced fitters

Requirements:

  • A 'can-do' attitude and enthusiasm to learn
  • Happy to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Full driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
